To replace an old iron and manganese removal plant for the soft drinks provider Refresco Benelux in Maarheeze, Brabant in the Netherlands, Lubron Water found a partner to design and build a water treatment plant that meets the strict quality standards. In addition to the demands concerning the quality, the system also needed to be dependable and simple to operate. As a result, a great degree of reliability has been assured.
The water specialists of Lubron soon came to the conclusion that the spring water had to be purified in two filtration steps: removal of iron and nitrification, as a first step and removal of manganese as a second step.
