 Remembering to replenish the water softener salt need no longer be a problem with Lubron’s new Salto unit. This clever device raises an alert via the volt free contacts
whenever the salt has been used up. It functions by measuring the salt level, or conductivity, of the brine and the LED on the front display indicates the following:
 GREEN The salt concentration in the brine is satisfactory, and the next regeneration will also be satisfactory
 AMBER The salt level in the brine is no longer sufficient for a satisfactory regeneration and requires replenishment
 RED The alarm signal will be fully activated and the salt will need immediate replenishment.

 The Salto incorporates a 5 hour delay to allow
freshly added salt to dissove and produce the
correct strength of brine. During the process the
LED will automatically switch from RED to AMBER
and then GREEN. If the salt concentration
has not increased during this period the
LED will stay at red and operate the
alarm relay.
